Lately, my life has been nothing but meal prep, housework, and taking care of my elderly dad. So I decided to instead write about an OC with a way more interesting life.

The original song ended up being over 6 minutes long, so this version was edited down to 4 minutes.

Sweating under these lights -
Can they see me?
Prima donna -
My name in firelight.
They all love me,
But do they even know me?

(Little Bear, Little Bear)
They call for me.
(Little Bear, Little Bear)
They all love me.
(Little Bear, Little Bear,
Don't take one wrong step
Or you'll dine with the wolves)

Under the makeup,
I'm just another girl.
But they say there's stars in my eyes.
Well, that's show business,
And this life is glamorous -
Decadent, gluttonous.
Help me, please...

"She's an angel" -
Oh, do they mean me?
Prima donna -
My name in all their mouths.
"What a darling,
The queen of the opera house."

(Little Bear, Little Bear)
Their hands reach for me.
(Little Bear, Little Bear)
They all hate me.
(Little Bear, Little Bear,
Puppet on a string -
Now shut up and sing)

Under the makeup,
I'm just another girl.
But they say there's stars in my eyes.
Gonna break these mirrors
'Til they start to reflect me
In all of my vanity.
Someone, please...

So enchanting -
This life of decadence.
Prima donna,
Sitting upon my throne.
I have all that a girl
Could ever ask for -

All but the things that are
Rich in meaning.
Under my feet, I feel
The pedestal
Starting to crack under
All this mounting pressure.

(Little Bear, Little Bear)
Don't look at me
(Little Bear, Little Bear)
With those letching eyes.
(Little Bear, Little Bear,
Why not burn it all down?
Just burn it to the ground)

Burn it all -
These tapestries and dresses.
Burn them all.
|Now they'll really see my name in firelight.
Mad queen of the opera house -
Will they hate me?
Pity me?
Will they even remember me
Once I'm gone?
